libgcj16 software package provides Java runtime library for use with gcj, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgcj16
libgcj16 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgcj16 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgcj16 *
You will get with libgcj16 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
